Whether you want to go fishing, pontoon sailing, kayaking, or canoeing – this is definitely where you want to be. Be sure to book in advance – there’s often a wait list.
Rentals at the Marina
The Marina provides pontoon rentals by the hour. All boats are electric boats. There are 2 types of boats – larger pontoons that hold up to 13 people and a smaller one that can hold. upto 5 people. In addition, there are also hybrid stand-up paddleboard/kayaks and peddle kayaks. If getting out on the water is your mission – you’ll find lots of opportunity in Big Canoe. Fishing pole rentals are also available at the Marina along with bait and tackle sales, snacks and beverages including beer and wine.

Fun on the Water at Big Canoe
Lake Disharoon and Lake Petit is really beautiful. The shape of the lake lends itself to plenty of coves to hang out in. It’s a combination of gorgeous mountain backdrops, beautiful forests that reach right up to the waters edge, amazing fall colors, and clear waters.
